The abalone shell is traditionally used to burn herbs and smudges. A stick can be placed against the edge while still alight. ( Do not leave unattended )
Smudge sticks are made from sacred herbs and used to clear energy in people, spaces and even tools like crystals and candles. The smoke of the sacred herb clears energy and creates an aura of protection. We also love using it whenever we feel low, out of sorts and to give thanks.

How to use:
Light the end of the stick holding it at the base and allowing it to burn for 20 seconds. Then blow out the flame and as the smoke arises slowly walk around your space. Remember to open a window or door to allow the negative energy to leave. Allow it to cool on the shell after use.
These shells are farmed (not caught) in South Africa and Mexico. Meaning, the natural habitat is not destroyed and the supply is sustainable.
Shell measures 3-4 inches (7.5 cm) at the widest point.
