Welcome back to our JANUARY RESET edit! For those who are unfamiliar with our reset programme, it is a free curated and informative guide to help you align your actions and intentions with your manifestations for the year. Through the edit, learn all the do's and don't of self-love, self-care and cleansing your mind, body and spirit. 
When I wrote this last year, it was after a long year full of restrictions,
lockdowns and setbacks. However, if you know anything about us, we NEVER encourage the negatives and try to think of the positives. Every cloud has a silver lining and for us, the silver lining in 2021 was that we expanded our incredible like-minded community, created our health-boosting super powders and hosted a few life-changing events. Helping you embark on your spiritual journey is at the heart of what we do. In 2022, I can proudly say we've hosted over 15 workshops, expanded into new places and connected with so many of you in person. I'm truly grateful for all the love and support.
To make your journey easy, we've curated our Reset Edit to help align your intentions with your manifestations for the year, even if you have no idea where to start. We have all been in that position when starting something new, not sure where to go or what to do. That's where we step in to guide you through it. Have you ever heard of the term raising your vibe? Well, that's exactly what we're doing! 
The most predictable answer when someone asks "what's your least favourite month?", it's commonly said to be January! for the majority, it is a daunting month of dullness, gloomy weather and getting our shit together ( which can be a tough task if you don't know where to start ). But for me, it gives me a chance to get my energy levels up, my motivation back after the Christmas break and make myself the number one priority. I decided to take last year's reset edit and go even further with it. I am offering a 4-WEEK reset challenge that you can follow with me every day through our Instagram. 2nd - 29th January. 28 days of showing up for YOU!

Before you start the challenge, you need to read the edit to understand the process between each task, ritual, and choice and how it will help you evolve into a manifesting mindset. 

 

 

These reset rituals will help find the path that you desire. As you read on, you will notice that everything is connected. It all starts from the trio: Mind, Body and Spirit. Your mind, body and spirit cannot function well if they aren’t balanced. If you don’t express love for yourself, it shows in your body and spirit. If you don’t believe in yourself you see it in your actions and choices. If you don’t fuel your body, your spirit and mind cannot flourish. 

The RESET WITH ROXY 4-week challenge will consist of an everyday checklist:

 

  1. stretch for 5 mins 
  2. write something you are grateful for 
  3. move for at least 20 minutes 
  4. take 3 deep breaths as soon as you get out of bed and before bed 
  5. show someone some love 
  6. not drink alcohol
  7. be off your phone for 30 minutes 
  8. add fruit or veg to every meal 

    These all fit within resetting our mind, body and spirit.

    To kick start 2023 we have anchored in a Capricorn New Moon. This Capricorn New Moon starting at the beginning of the year is crucial to paving the way for your intentions and manifestations. All your intentions or "New Year's resolutions" set under this moon WILL manifest into reality. Now I’m not saying you can write it down or think it and 'poof' it will happen, but by embarking on these simple small changes in your lifestyle, manifesting will become the easy part. 

    THE RESET TRIO

    The steps are categorised into 3 types. Mind, Body and Spirit. By feeding each category, it allows you to get into an abundant state of mind.

     

    Each one is colour coded for what category it checks off. Mind - Blue, Body - Pink and Spirit - Green. Some are double-coloured as they fit in with both categories.

     

    7:00 am - Wake up 

    7:45 am - Move my body for at least 30 minutes

    8:30 am - Shower, body brush and apply morning skincare (self care)

    9:00 am - Breakfast with superfood powders 

    9:30 am - Gratitude practice with incense/ to-do list

     

    1 pm Lunch 

     

    6 pm- Walk for 30 minutes 

    7 pm- Dinner (always nutritious, delicious and not restricting)

    8 pm- wind down with bath, journaling, movie. 

     

    Every day I try and add in at least one thing to feed my mind, body or spirit. Here are different tasks you can add to any daily routine alongside our challenge:

     

    MIND

    • Meditation
    • Journaling 
    • Using sage or Palo Santo 
    • Cleaning
    • Self Care (Reading, writing, baths, setting goals, applying your skincare)
    • Gratitude practice
    • Sending positive thoughts out 

     

     

    BODY

    • Stretching
    • Exercising  
    • Nutritional meals 
    • Breathing
    • Wearing things that make you feel good

     

     

    SPIRIT

     

     

     

    These practices can fit in with either a) raising your vibration or b) practising daily rituals that shift your mindset. In most cases, they cover both! Each time you perform these simple tasks, not only does it make you feel good, but leads you to make bigger lifestyle changes. Maybe ones that you were struggling to make before and could have been holding you back. This further drives you towards believing in yourself and feeling accomplished. Which helps bring your manifestations to life. You begin to manifest your desires and your experiences will start matching your energy. 

     

     

    Without this, it is nearly impossible to grow in your spiritual journey. When we talk about raising your frequency or vibe, this essentially means raising your energy levels, but not in way of physical energy, but in a spiritual type of way. By raising your vibe, it mirrors that you have a self-awareness of your thoughts and emotions. When you are vibrating at a higher frequency, you feel better, lighter, full of love, happy, and encounter a greater sense of self-evolution. 

    It’s very easy to say “I feel great” “I'm happy” “I believe in myself” and mean it, but we all have those wobbly days where we don’t feel so happy, or we don’t believe in ourselves. That is equally as important to acknowledge as the other aspects. No one is perfect, and embracing these imperfections, directs us closer to raising our frequency. By being self-aware of your thoughts, you are already vibrating at a higher frequency.
     
    This goes in line with gratitude practice which is my personal favourite. By putting out positive thoughts about your day no matter how small, instantly changes your mindset from negative to positive. This directly can change any perspective that you have, leading to attracting exactly what you want. Neuroscientist Glenn Fox who is an expert in the science of gratitude has found links between the practice and physical brain structures. Studies have found a correlation between the feeling of gratitude a chemical hormone called oxytocin, also known as the ‘love hormone’ named consequently because it is the hormone realised when reserving physical affection. In essence, practising gratitude on a neurological level is like constantly stimulating your brain with hugs and orgasms.

    HOW IT ALL LEADS TO MANIFESTING 

     
     Manifesting is such a buzzword at the moment. It’s being thrown around without being understood. When you manifest, you are attracting what you desire. You are co-creating with the universe what you want to happen. When you get all the other components aligned, you soon realise manifesting is the easiest part. 

     

    TOP 6 TIPS FOR MANIFESTING

     

    Maintain High Vibrations

    Always go back to thinking what do I need to do to nurture my mind, body and spirit? Try to do a task every day that makes you feel better. Whether it be only 10 minutes or an hour.

     

     

    ALWAYS believe that good things are about to happen

    Whether you start believing in yourself or in the events that happen in your life. ALWAYS BELIEVE! A useful way to stay with this tip is to create weekly checklists, vision boards and gratitude practice. Sometimes it's easier said than accomplished. To help you gain confidence in yourself, visualisations are a prominent way to picture yourself doing the things you want. The more you visualise the more you'll believe. 

     

     

    Game Plan - Never set yourself up for failure. Always be prepared

     

    Set yourself realistic goals both long term and short term. Write them down. Re-read it. Tell all your friends, even strangers. The more you put it into the universe the more you will achieve. Manifesting is all about working with the law of attraction. You convey what you want to receive.

    Once you have the game plan, all you need is to act on it! Take one step at a time, and slowly things will start to magically happen. A tip on supporting you to take action is writing in a journal. By writing down a checklist and checking off each item when it happened, emotions of accomplishment arise. That sensation of feeling like you are working towards your goals further enhances your abundant life. 

    Don't be afraid if you hit knocks, it's essential to trust the process. Whenever you see a shadow of a doubt, keep telling your self "Trust the universe, they have my back". 

     

     

    Practice Gratitude

     Be grateful for all the things that happen in your life, whether they be big or small. Give back to your community and your surroundings even if it's only with your thoughts. An excellent way to practice gratitude is doing a small incense or candle ritual at home and saying 3 things I'm grateful for. Research by the psychologist Robert Emmons and author of the book ‘Thanks!: How the New Science of Gratitude Can Make You Happier’, shows that just keeping a simple gratitude journal and continuously writing brief reflections shows an increase in mental health, well-being and general satisfaction in life. 

     

     

    Amplify Manifestations with Energy 

    If you have been to any of our manifesting rituals, then you’ll know how powerful it can be to intensify your manifestations with energy. Fire ceremonies, candle rituals and moon rituals can help enrich the energy going into your manifestations, virtually making them stronger. You can strengthen the ritual with crystals too.

    Act As If It's Already Happening 

    By putting it out in the universe that it's already happening, it ends up happening! Our minds are greater than we think, use them to attract the life you want. Instead of saying "I hope it will happen", say "IT IS happening". I did this for an upcoming article in a major publication and it worked completely. Almost fell off my chair from excitement. That can EASILY be you too!
